Operated boom trucks, truck cranes and large all-terrains for Lewis County, from the I-5 industrial parks to the dams up US-12.
Crane Rental in Centralia and Chehalis
Snell Crane Service lifts equipment, steel, precast and utility gear across Centralia, Chehalis and the rest of Lewis County. Many jobs here want a truck-mounted crane that rolls in, picks and leaves, and others need 200 tons or more on a dam, substation or mill.
Since 1992 we've run both. Our project managers plan your job from site visit to lift plan to permits, and an NCCCO-certified operator runs the crane. We're licensed, bonded and insured, and open 24/7.

Local Know-How
Centralia and Chehalis sit on I-5 halfway between Seattle and Portland, and the industrial parks around the Port of Chehalis and the freeway are full of distribution, food processing and manufacturing buildings. Low ground along the Chehalis and Skookumchuck rivers means some sites need extra care with crane setup and ground bearing.
East on US-12 the work changes: Mossyrock, Morton, Randle and Packwood bring hydro, utility and timber jobs on hilly, narrow access roads. We route-check the drive and plan the setup before the crane leaves the yard.

Local Project
We set up a crane on top of Mossyrock Dam in Lewis County. Dam crests leave little room for outriggers, counterweight or trucks, so the setup, the access and the lift plan all had to be worked out before the crane rolled in.
FAQ
Yes. Our boom trucks and truck cranes come with an NCCCO-certified operator, which suits quick picks around Chehalis and Centralia. If you need a load trucked rather than lifted, see our heavy hauling service.
Yes. We've set up on top of Mossyrock Dam, and we plan the route, access and crane setup for sites up US-12.
Our largest all-terrain is the Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 at 275 tons, and our Liebherr LR 1300 crawler is rated at 330 tons. Our project managers will size the crane to the lift.
