Operated cranes for downtown Bellevue high-rises, Eastside office and tech campuses, and hillside homes from Kirkland to Issaquah.
Crane Rental in Bellevue
Snell Crane Service sets rooftop mechanical, structural steel, glass and modular units across Bellevue and the Eastside. Our NCCCO-certified operators run everything from a 40-ton all-terrain to a 275-ton all-terrain, so the crane fits both the load and the site.
Our project managers visit the site, write the lift plan and handle the city permits and paperwork. We've been working the I-5 and I-405 corridors since 1992.

Local Know-How
Downtown Bellevue is a tight grid of towers going up next to occupied ones, so most crane setups happen in a closed lane or inside a fenced site with neighbors on every side. Lifts over occupied buildings and sidewalks need a detailed lift plan and a firm schedule, and we build both before we mobilize.
Beyond downtown, Eastside work spreads out: office and tech campuses in Redmond and along I-405, new mixed-use buildings in the Spring District and Issaquah Highlands, and hillside lots around Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish where a crane may have to set up on a steep driveway or a narrow residential street. Our cranes reach the Eastside on I-90 and I-405.

FAQ
Usually, yes. We bring compact cranes like the Manitex 40124 or the NBT55L boom truck for neighborhood work. Our project managers check the grade, overhead lines and setup area during the site visit and handle any right-of-way permit the city requires.
When a lift has to swing over an occupied building or sidewalk, the lift plan covers the swing path, rigging and any closures the city requires. We schedule those picks for the quietest window, including nights and weekends.
Yes, through our sister brand DOC Hoist. See high-rise hoisting for the DOC hoisting system.
