Warehouse and Plant Moves in the Kent Valley

The Kent Valley runs from Tukwila and Renton down through Kent and Auburn to Sumner, and it's packed with distribution centers, food processors, aerospace suppliers and metal shops. Snell Crane Service moves the equipment that keeps those buildings running.

Whether you're relocating a line across the valley or bringing new machines into a fresh tilt-up building, our project managers plan the whole move, from rigging out to setting and leveling at the new site.

Local Know-How

Tilt-Up Buildings, Dock Doors and SR-167

Most valley buildings are concrete tilt-ups with truck-height docks and a few grade-level doors. That suits heavy forklifts and Versa-Lift, but tall machines and long conveyor sections often have to come through a grade door or be picked through the roof.

Trucks move up and down the valley on SR-167, with I-5 and I-405 at either end. Plants that run around the clock need us to work in a shutdown window, and we're open 24/7 to fit it.

FAQ

Kent Questions

Can you move a whole production line between Kent Valley buildings?

Yes. We map the line, tag and disconnect pieces with your maintenance team, haul them in the order they'll be reset, and set them on the new floor to your layout.

Can you take down and reinstall pallet racking or a mezzanine?

Yes. We rig it down in sections, haul it on our trailers and set it back up at the new building.

Do you work during a plant shutdown or over a weekend?

Yes. We're open 24/7 and plan crews and equipment so the move fits your shutdown window.
